Hose question

Default Hose question

my truck is a 99 blazer 4 door 4x4, anyway i Was just walking out of work today and looked under the truck saw that a rubber house wana say may 5/8 diameter hanging down from the area of my transmission. now there was no puddle of anyfluid underneath the truck so i am at a loss for what it is.(i know not alot of info if you need more ask so i know what else to tell you ) the truck is still driving fine shifts fine. if anyone knows what the hose is from or what its for and how to fix this it would be greatly appreciated.

Could be a vent hose. Find where the other end of the hose goes to.

thats what i was hoping for but i didnt see this hose hanging down when i was underneath the truck the other day

I would just take the end of the hose and trace it down to where it starts.It has to go somewhere.

ok so i went to my mechanic told me it was a vaccume line couldn't tell were it went without taking the time to take things apart and i just didn't have the time today

It looks like a transfer case vacuum hose.

Thats what i figured only place realy could go anyone have any experience reconnecting it
or is it posibly a vent line
