How can i hollow out my Catalytic Convertor without affect the second oxygen sensor? i have 2 sensors, one before the cat and one after the cat. i want to hollow it out but i dont want it to negatively affect they way it runs or throw a code. its a 95 S10 CPI vortec "W" engine....

I completely removed the cat and replaced it with a test pipe on my '01. It's been about a week, and it hasn't thrown a code/set the SES light, yet.

Tampering with catalytic converters is a Federal offense.

That being said, those who do this usually get the downstream 02 code deleted if it shows up.
