How hard is it to replace the fuel line from the fuel filter foward?

How hard is it to replace the fuel line from the fuel filter foward towards the engine? and where does it disconnect? or is it 1 piece from the fuel filter foward all the way to the intake?

It is not an overly difficult replacement. On most model years the line can be disconnected at the mounting bracket to the rear of the engine compartment. Though on some years such as my 01 it appears to be one line all the way through to the fuel filter.

It's a very short distance from the fuel filter to the engine. Be carefull not to break the oil pressure gage close by and if you remove the distributor in order to have some working space, don't strip or brake the screw to the distributor cap on the distributor(It's plastic).

if you do happen to have the one peice line, cut the line with a pipe cutter at the fire wall, go to napa or part store and get a piece of fuel line and a compression fitting and piece her back togather. will be a lot cheaper this way than getting a pre fab hose.
