How Much PAG oil and where?
Hello Everyone,
Been a bit sense I posted about my A/C issues. It turns out the compressor is trashed and needs replaced. I got all the parts but I can not find anywhere that says how much PAG oil to put in and where it goes. I have all the parts and the vacuum to complete the job I am just held up on getting started. Every where I read says to measure the oil that comes out of the compressor when you take it off but I am not even sure there will be anything in there win it comes off and I don't want to scramble to find out after the fact. I have searched these forums and many others high and low and have found a few walkthrough's but nothing that says THIS MUCH AND PUT IT HERE!. Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated. I would like to get the parts out of my house and in there proper location. THANKS!

RE: How Much PAG oil and where?
If I recall correctly you dump the PAG oil into the compressor and its somewhere close to 2oz. The compressor should say somewhere on its either stamped in or on a sticker how much to add. I would wait for someone to affirm that my memory is correct before following this.
