HVAC control module
I think I need to replace the HVAC control module (the one with auto climate control) in my 1999 LT 4WD. I had a battery drain to 7V while out of town for two weeks and the module is now completely unresponsive.
I read somewhere that a battery drain could do this?
I charged it, to start the vehicle, it is 12.20V after driving and settles to 11.6V after 48 hours. I can still start it at 11.6V, but I am replacing the battery tomorrow. 11/2021 vintage.
The A/C cycles on/off all the time like its low on freon, but I have no control over fan, a/c, heat.
I disconnected the battery after charging waited 30 minutes and reconnected, but it did not fix the problem. No sense pulling a/c fuses if I completely disconnected battery, right?
Maybe I missed a step in there, but that is why I am asking for advice here.
It was giving me problems this summer before this event, turning a/c on by itself, heat randomly coming out when the a/c was on.
Sometimes I would start the vehicle and the a/c would start on its own, sometimes not.
I believe the part number is 15756179. Is there a resource that you know of that would list other part numbers that are compatible?
I think there was an original part number that i think came before this one, maybe?
A module with this part number, it physically looks the same, but 15060162 is not listed for the blazer, but the Yukon, was wondering if this was a compatible part?
If I can bring the old one back to life, I would appreciate suggestions.
If not, a list of compatible part numbers please.
I already did a replacement four years ago with a rebuilt one. Its not a difficult repair so I don't mind doing it again. Just hoping with more part number options I might find a new one somewhere on the planet.
Thank you in advance for any help.

Have you looked at a GM parts supplier to see the other parts numbers associated with this part?
GM Parts Giant lets you put in your VIN to select the options for your vehicle. Then put in the part number and see what other ones are associated with it.
The parts descriptions at Rock Auto and Dorman also will have cross referenced parts numbers.

Parts giant provided several additional numbers, awesome suggestion, thanks
BUT...I have a part number 15060162 available that wasn't listed on that site.
Probably because it is for Tahoe suburban Silverado
Do you think that would work?
Has anyone made this work?

Unfortunately I can't say anything one way or the other about the Tahoe one.
With the other part numbers in hand, have you looked on eBay? I've had luck finding NOS parts there.
Also, I forgot to add that I've never heard of these solid-state failing. As such perhaps one from a wrecking yard could work, at least until you find a new replacement?
