Default i don't know

2002, 2WD, 4-Door, 4.3 Vortec, Automatic, 171,000 miles.

I have been experiencing problems off and on for about a year now. First, the motor would have a rough start, sometimes took more than one turn of the key. Went from that to actually(in the past two months) killing the battery during the attempt to crank. I can occasionally jump-start it, but not always, and it takes a while for it to crank, regardless. Changed the spark plugs, distributor cap, and rotor button, plug wires, and it doesn't want to do anything at all now. When it does run, it stutters and shakes, and does not run properly. Voltage doesn't seem to be a problem, getting 14.1-14.4 Volts when running, and around 11.8-12.5 when starting. Fuel pump is fuctioning properly( i don't own a fuel pressure tester, so don't know the exact fuel pressure). Getting spark to all wires.....Can't afford to buy a new vehicle, or take this one to a shop, so any advice and assistance is more than appreciated. feel free to contact me via e-mail: musikmakur2306@yahoo.com

There's the first problem. Guess-timations are useless, so borrow, rent, or buy a fuel pressure gauge, then follow the steps in this post and come back to this thread and let us know what you find.
