Recently (today), my oil pump shot, and thus brought my oil pressure to 0. I still had to drive the truck about 3 miles to get it to a mechanic becuase I thought I could make it. I was wrong, the crank rod bearings are fused to the crank shaft, thus destroying my engine. I need to know how much it would be for a new engine or if anyone has one for sell.
Thanks again for all of your help.

go to car-parts.com and find one. You can search from junk yards nationwide. most all give you a 90 day warr.

AutoZone can get remanufactured engines with a 12-18 month warranty
They can also get salvaged engines with a 12 month warranty

Thanks for the help! I'll try both of these, and discuss both options with my dad.
