Keys in the car please respond quickly

Locked the keys in...Usually I am prepared with a spare, but I just got back from a road trip. So of course the bag with the spare is locked inside too.

Wire hanger and removing the window weather strip? can you slim jim a gen 2 with electric locks?

Wire hanger won't work. I've tried. Not sure about the slim jim. Most of the large cell phone companies provide roadside assistance when you're in a contract. You could try that. I know my provider(Verizon) covers lockouts.

look under the doors around the frame rail...i have seen factory magnetic boxes with spare keys located there

If you're still trying to get in, get a wedge of wood (think those old door stop wedges, and put it on the top of the door lip...

you need a wire coathanger, make a handle then down45 degrees, up like a letter "V" then back down straight with a hook on the end.
you pull off the rubber trim on the window, slide it in and loop it under the window, then you have the up of the "V" inside the car and the straight down to a hook, use the hook to lift the lock or hit the unlock button.
if you need a diagram tell me and ill make a fast 1 in paint.

btw - im new to the forum have a 02 jimmy and had a 02 sonoma..i think ive had the jimmy for bout 4 years and had the sonoma for 1.5 years prior.

i used a slim Jim to get into my '95 before the trick however is to do it on the passenger side apparently

Most successful way I've seen of getting into one is drive a wedge into the top of the door (near the rear edge) and take a stiff rod and push the master unlock on the drivers armrest.

Used a wire hanger between the weather stripping and the door, but a hook in it to snag the lock and pull it up...Took like 3 minutes. No wedges required. Thanks for all of the input
