Need help in IL

Wanting if anyone can tell me why it takes FOREVER to fill the gas tank up? Only puts few cents in at a time the gas pump clicks off like the tank is saying it's full.

Not to make a smart a$ remark but are you sure it isnt and your gas gauge isnt messed up? I havent had a problem with my blazer, but my car is finiky at certain gas stations and I will have to hold the pump at the perfect angle or it will do the same

A little more info on your truck would help but it sounds like you have a fuel filler tube problem. It could be collapsed/restricted in some way.

not the gas gauge...it works just fine and I have tried every angle I can and it still does the same thing. I have gone to several other stations and it does the same at all of them. My mechanic...without actually charging me to look at it...troubleshooted maybe a solenoid is bad? someone else suggested the float in the tank? Nothing collapsed in tube...that has been checked already. Hoping that maybe someone else might have encountered the same problem....

What are you driving?

In this thread - HELP Please Fuel Tank Issue - the OP solved the problem by replacing the filler neck and the fuel tank vent solenoid. Most of the time, this condition is caused by a failure in the vent system for the tank.

My 97 Blazer has a anti siphon ball in the filler tube. I would assume you do too, maybe it's stuck somehow and blocking the filler tube? You'd have to disconnect the filler tube to inspect.

My 03 just started doing this the other day. Planning one tearing into it this weekend.
