New from tampa,fl couple if questions.
hello everyone I'm a new blazer owner from Tampa,fl.I Traded my 98 ford contour (aka)nightmare for a 98 blazer ls 4door 4x4. my car needed a tranny and the blazer needed motor work.I have a daughter and i needed something bigger.So i have a few questions.1st the truck turns on fine but the bottom end starts makin a loud almost squeeling noise,it has oil psi but low ithink its a main bearing. should i buy a crank kit for 300 and hope tnats all it needs or should i rebuild the whole thing,or Get a motor from a salvage yard for $600 with 90 warranty.2nd question ive been doing reseach and if i swap my stock 4x4wheels with stock 2x2 wheels the rear wheels will stick it out abit.my question is,there a way to get those wheels to sit flush.also is it noticible.thank you in advance for the help
