No Start in cold
Since cold weather has hit, my 95 4x4 blazer has been hard to start. It cranks over just fine but won't fire up until third or fourth time and then it seems to catch feebly as if firing up on diluted fumes. Tonight after work, temp 2 degrees, 9 pm it just wouldn't fire up. Cranked fine, but wouldn't come to life. Tried for 20 min and then stopped. didn't want to totally drain the battery. Got a ride and left it in the parking lot. Too cold and dark to try to inspect it then. Any ideas on where to start looking? There is a full tank of gas. Added seafoam two days ago because of starting problems. Could the seafoam have dislodged something and clogged the injectors? When engine is warm it starts and re-starts just fine. Cold is a factor. What is being affected by the cold?
Thanks for any help, Pete

Go to your local parts store and find a product that will remove water in the fuel system I am not sure of the name but I think it has HEAT in the name...it is for cold start fuel problems where water might have gotten into the system....
Thanks Mark, I'll definitely try that. Have to go back to work today 10:30 to 7:30. Hope I can find a time slot today to do it. I miss carburettors, I'm more of an MGB mechanic. How do you prime the fuel injected engine with some starting fluid? Not real familiar with the Blazer yet, It really is my new wife's truck. Guess I better start learning the Blazer and let the MG sit for a while.
I had a couple of s10's that used to due this and it was the coil. Coolant temp sensor could do it too but usually when I see this it's the coil or coil wire. Was tipped off by my brother who services them for USPS and he said he's seen this about a million times.
BTW, I used to get it started in a emergency by popping off the tube that goes to the air cleaner and spraying starting fluid right in there.
