No Start HELP!!

Need help guys. My wife's 99 blazer is have a no start issues. And to top it off she is stuck at home while I'm at work with out 1month old. Now I'm always fear the 'what if's' if she needs to go someplace. So here what I have so far and not sure where to start next.

Wife when out yesterday and said she had no issues with the truck. She got fuel and did running around after that for a few hours.

Wife went out this am to do some running around and now truck won't start. Engine just cranks and cranks strong.

I pulled the plug off distributer from coil. Truck has very good stark when cranking.
Hooked up fuel pressure gauge and jumps up to 65-70 psi and levels out to 60 while cranking.
Kept gauge on for 5-10 mins and pressure only dropped to 52psi.

Where to go from here? What else should I check? Really need help guys. Hate leaving the wife without a vehicle.

Hi, I'm just a noob here but check out the thread.. 97 blazer cranks but no dash lights or fuel pump... Maybe you have the same ignition problem I had. The guys here really helped me out so be patient and I know they will help you too. Check for power to your ECM. Cheers.

Read that one. Doesn't sound like my issues. Dash like work fine, fuel pump kicks on and has good PSI. Going to check spark at plugs tomorrow, but not sure what to check after that.

To do the fuel pressure and leakdown test: do it with the key on and engine off, not cranking. It should be between 60 and 65 and not go below 55 for 10 minutes. Post back your inital psi and 10 minute later numbers.

Check fuses...perhaps the fuel injector fuse has blown and no fuel to cylinders.

Try starting engine, then pull a spark plug out to check to see if wet. Perhaps fuel injector has opened and flooding cylinders.

Make sure distrubutor is rotating.

Good luck and keep posting what you find.

Checked again. The PSI jumps to 60-62 when key on and drops to about 51 after 10 mins of sitting.

Checked all engine related fuses and they look good.

Took distributer cap off and rotor is turning with engine.

Pulled spark plug wire are head and checked spark, has really good spark there too.

Didn't get a chance to pull plug out and check it, will have to do that tonight or tomorrow after work. I did notice a little wear on posts inside cap, might just do a tuneup and rule that out. Just did one about 2 years ago but maybe they parts are garbage ones.

Thanks for all the help guys.

You might want to give it some ether in the throttlebody, if it starts and keeps running fuelpump could be starting to go. Has it ever been changed and if so what kind did you use? 51 is a little low.

51 PSI is the leak down after 10 mins. I am getting about 60 while cranking and 65 when I first turn key forward.

I change the pump out a little over a year ago. Bought it from CarQuest. had the CarQuest logo on it with all the info on the pump but also had a Delphi sticker on the box so I am guessing Delphi made it?

Have the ACDelco Cap & Rotor on order and plan on a full turn up to help rule any issues with that. If that dont work, I try a starting fluid. Just didnt have any the other day and now with made rush at work before the hoilday shut down, I wont get to it til this weekend or next week.

Must have needed a tune up.

Changed out cap and rotor. And driver side plugs and wires before the snow hit us, and she fired right up. I will have to change out passenger side plugs and wires after this snow storm.
