Remember this is free software that comes with the OBDLinkSX hardware. Don't pay for the software! Only $29 for the hardware to give it a try.

The OBDWiz software is a download that requires the license key you will receive with your hardware. If you are really getting this let me know and I will download it/install it also so I can help you directly. I'm sure I already have the license somewhere. Why? It's interesting to me if the required rudimentary TCCM communication to read and clear TCCM codes can be done with freebie software and a cheap $29 OBD2 device. Might be interesting to others as well and may have applications in other vehicle systems as well.

I'll be getting the hardware as soon as I decide what I want (son is an IT wiz and i need to talk with him first) as well as the GM upgrade.I'll be in touch.Thanks again.

I have been collecting info on the elm 327 commands , It is pretty cool what you can do with them....No more expensive scan unit to initiate the crank sensor relearn....you can do it with elm.

Tell me more!!! I have software to initiate relearn, but sounds like fun! Please start another thread and we can put in what we know and find out!

I stumbled across this file the other day - haven't had time or desire to go through it all. Have you seen it?

Yes , I have that sheet ..looked over it briefly , That is a good idea Les . This weekend I have some work to do on my Astro and Jimmy so I will play around and start a new thread with the info I have and have played with.
