Overhead console...
2 Attachment(s)
I have a 1996 Blazer LS, the overhead console works but when I turn on temp/direction display it just shows 140F NW, what can I check to correct this? I thought about checking the fuses but if it was a bad fuse the display shouldn't even come on at all...so what else can I check?
I am pretty good with maintenance and knowledgeable in most aspects. I checked the manual in the vehicle it doesn't really get into technical or repair issues. Any help would be greatly appreciated :icon_wink: Thanks, David |
Sounds like your ambient temperature sensor has failed. It is located behind the grill, in front of the radiator.

I have posted the resistance values for GM temperature sensors before. You should be able to find it by searching for "temperature+resistance" or by CLICKING HERE. The resistance chart should work with all GM temperature sensors.
