P0300 Multiple Engine Misfires

I am getting the P0300 Multiple Engine Misfires code. My vehicle is being very difficult. It starts most of the time but every so often it does not want to start at all. I have been reading a lot of posts on this code and the problems people are having but none seem to be like mine. I have taken some of the advise in the forums and tried the hold down gas and turn key for fifteen seconds and most of the time it will start but not all of the time, iteventually will start so far. This is becoming more frequent and it is not wanting to start a lot of the time now. I have changed the plugs and wires, cleaned off the battery cable and put two bottles of injector cleaner in it and drove it three hundred miles. The problem is that I can not move well due to rupturing my achilles tendon and just having surgery, so I would like to figure out what my problem is as easy as possible due to being some what cripple. My car will start fine after I drive it for a while and it has no problem starting as long as it has been drove in the last little bit, but if it sits over night it might or might not start.

RE: P0300 Multiple Engine Misfires

I would definitely start with a fuel pressure test. There is a post in the DIY section detailing how to do this and what to check for (diagnostic flow chart). Run down through that and let us know the outcome.
