Park lamp, turn signal

My driver's side "upper"parking lamp (the one that is also the left turn signal lamp) will not illuminate when the lights are on. Lamp is good, (tested it in the right hand side) It will flash when the left turn signal is activated, but it flashes rapidly. Also, the left turn arrow on the dash will illuminate steadily when the parking light or head light switch is in the on position. The RH turn signal functions normally. Any ideas on what may be causing this will be greatly appreciated.

If you're sure the bulb is good, then the ground is poor or non-exixtant. Could be either the socket is bad or the ground wire from the socket to the chassis is broken.

The lamp is good. I will swap the socket with known good one and look at ground as well. Thanks for the reply, Cap'n Hook
