parking brake issues

i have a 2000 with disk brakes and the parking brake inside the drum , has anyone had problems with the brake actuator, i can push the p-brake pedal to the floor and nothing happens, the cable is tight at the wheel but the shoes dont move.

I have had issues with the parking brake as well...
I ended up.replacing the parking brake pads and the hardware
thats operates it...I would recomend the kit from Rockauto
that has all hardware included . Including the rubber boots
That fit around the actuator arm....use grease inside the adjuster cups
And I needed to clean the lip of the rotor so the parking brake pads
Would not excessevly drag when installing the rotor onto
The brake assy..you mat also need to loosen the parking brake cable to
Adjust the parking brake shoe properly...also i found that
Adjusting the parking brake is a little tricky...there are three points of adjustment
An adjuster on each wheel, then the cable adjuster on the
Driver side along the frame rail....look at how it works ..when
The parking brake pedal is pressed only one side is adjustable then to adjust
The other side its done with the star adjuster in the wheel...
Sorry for the long reply...but it took me a little while to figure
It out...
