My uncle told me once that when you get lifetime pads they are replaced if they went bad only once. 1 time only free replacement. Is this true? and does NAPA have lifetime replacement on their top of the line ceramix pads??

Advance Online is basically a separate company from the brick and mortar stores. This is why they have different prices.

Also you have to look at regional pricing. At Circuit City there is varying prices for Southeast, Northeast, West Coast, etc..Each region gets its own sales flyer, with varying prices. That's why on most websites you have to enter in a zip code for the price.
How so? I mean granted most places have an 'internet sales team' but isn't it all still Advance Auto Parts?

I have asked the same question before, and this is what they have told me at more than one AA store. Besides that, I don't know. Could be a number of reasons.

Hobby stores are like that, too. I can 'Shop Online' at my local toy store, then call to see if they have it available in their physical store. If not I have to pay for shipping from their main warehouse.
