Payment reminder removed

On our 2001 S10 4wd 4dr Blazer the dealer history shows there was a payment reminder on it for about six weeks & then removed by the same dealer. There was a starter replaced in the next couple months. There is an extender that looks orange to the yellow wire on the steering column. Is there any way to check that the payment reminder was properly removed?

Not sure if this is related or not to the problem with the long crank hard start we are having with this Blazer.

What exactly is a payment reminder...what why would it effect you, the new owner?

I dont really know what it looks like, only that it was on the listing of what had been performed at the dealer. From what I have found online, a payment reminder is also known as a 'starter interrupt' so was just wondering if that was the reason for the extension on the wires. I wouldnt think it would have anything to do with us other than if it wasnt disconnected properly.

RE: Payment reminder removed

update ~ the blazer has been in the dealer's shop for three days. When asked about the payment reminder, they said that it wouldnt crank at all if that was an issue, but they were going to do the continuity test to check on it. They said they think it is a fuel system issue & will be replacing the fuel pressure regulator & the spider assembly.
