pics of ebrake setup?
 
so i bought my 99 jimmy yesterday and when the previous owner put the 05 rearend in a few months back he never bothered to reinstall the ebrake setup:icon_doh: so i have a box with what im told is all the parts i need to hook it back up

im planning on buying a haynes book to help but the pics in there are small and ****ty lol any help?

I wish I had taken pictures... I had my whole back side apart... what's in the box? There's not much to the e-brake system..

Those look like some crunchy tostitos there man. Rofl, ill look up a diagram and some info now.
Removal Procedure

  1. Raise the suitably support the vehicle.
  2. Remove the wheel and the tire.

  1. Remove the caliper.
  2. Remove the rotor.
  3. Remove the park brake cable from the park brake lever.
  4. Remove the park brake shoe assembly by sliding the shoe towards the hold down spring until the shoe is disengaged from the spring.
  5. Remove the shoe from the actuation mechanism.
  6. Clean the debris and the dust from the park brake components using a clean towel.
  7. Turn the adjustment screw to the fully home position in the notched adjustment nut, then back it off 1/4 turn.
  8. Align the slots in both the adjusting screw and tappet to be parallel with the backing plate face.

    Installation Procedure

  9. Install a new park brake shoe.
  10. Position the shoe on the inboard side of the actuation mechanism.
  11. Clip the shoe on the hold down spring.
  12. Inspect the shoe assembly position. The shoe must be central on the backing plate and with both tips located in the slots.
  13. Manually check the park brake for proper operation.
  14. Install the park brake cable to the park brake lever.
  15. Adjust the park brake shoe.
  16. Install the caliper.
  17. Install the rotor.
  18. Install the tire and wheel.
  19. Lower the vehicle.

Edit: I don't know if you have all the parts there to complete the assembly and hopefully those pics are enough to get you going.
