Power windows dying?

So for many years, the driver's side window has been known to get stuck, after I got my new speakers put in the window got worse since they took the door panels off and who knows what they did..anyway, but the window only seems to get stuck in the down position, as if pushing the weight of the window up is effecting it, it never gets stuck going down. Recently as the window would go up, it would start dying, and then stop, so I have to tap the switch over and over until I get the window about half way and it usually goes up. A few days ago my back left window started making noise when going down, and now my passenger side window is starting to kinda sputter when going down. I wanna play with the windows more so I know if they're real problems, but I'm not sure if this is a shortage problem or just 11 year old window motors coming close to old age. I was thinking about chaning out all 4 motors anyway, just for the sake of renewing.

You might want to try getting some "silicone" spray from your local parts store. You can spray the window tracks on your doors, and also get some grease for your window arms inside your doors. I had to do that in my 94 4-door after finding out #1 how expensive the window motors are, and #2 finding out how much of a pain it is to change them out.
If you do want to change out the motors, all I can say is have fun.

*Moving to 2nd Gen Tech*
Sounds like either the motor has gotten weak, the tracks have become misaligned, and/or there is grit in the tracks that is restricting movement...
