How loud is this noise? Does it vary with engine speed? Who told you this was the wheel bearing assembly and why?

If it stops after pressing the gas a lil bit and its relatively quiet, than I have the same noise. I have no idea what it is though :/

Sounds like a heater blower motor. Does the noise change with fan speeds?

believe it or not it is most likely your pcv valve that is causeing this noise. i had the same issue and it bugged me forever....as did londonmazda with his 96 he figured it out by accident while reaching around the motor he touched the vacum line and the noise stopped, we replaced the pcv and it went away i tried it and it fixed mine too. go under the hood with the engine running and reach down to the pcv valve and feel it, it is probably vibrating like mad... replace for 3 bucks and i bet the noise goes away.
