Prop shaft balance

With the help of a friend just changed the transfer box on my 1999 RHD Blazer. He re-connected the propshaft for me. Question is the shaft balanced and does it have to be re-fitted in the same orientation.
My experience is that propshafts are balanced, The car has started vibrating at about 40mph.

Many thanks

Yes, they should be reinstalled in the same position as removed. Try turning it 90* at a time and you should be able to get it back where it originally was installed.

It also needs to be installed in phase, meaning the bearings on one end of the shaft need to be aligned with the ones on the other end. If you Google it, you'll get pictures and a better explanation.
