quarter windows

i have a 2nd gen 2 door blazer and my quarter glass frames are sun damaged. can they be sanded and painted with automotive paint professionally, or would the paint have problems sticking? or is there anything that i can do other than buy new ones ? buying 2 of them would total the vehicle probably lol
