Radiator cap
 
My 2002 blazer 4x4 has a 15 lb rad cap,went to buy a new one and they are 16 lb,i donot want the extra pressure with the 16 lb,has anybody put on the 16 lb caps

All Stant caps for the 2002 4.3L are rated 16lbs. That's what I have.

yeah you definatly need a new cap if you have have the stock ac delco. they dont hold a seal.

The stock radiator is rated to 18lbs....plus thehigher thepressure thehigher the boiling point of the fluid in the radiator...I have a friend that is using a 22lb camaro cap on his 96 GMC Sonoma Highrider...
