radom vaccum line please help

1998 blazer 4 door 4x4.Ok I have a loose vac line that I seem unable to locate it's location. I have a line coming from the shared pvc t on the engine. That line then goes to a t by the abs and from that t a line goes into the fender well and the other line goes to another t and one of those lines goes into the fire wall ( smaller hard plastic line). And the other line goes back to the motor not connected to anything and there is vacuum at this line. Does this line go to the t-case? If so where do I locate it's mate. And would this cause me to loose 4x4.

Yes it would. On top of your t case is a trhee hose switch, it goes there

This loose line is short. A foot at the most, it could never reach the t case.

A pic is worth a thousand words.

Diagram is from a '98. I think it is the same for a '99.

How do you attach photos from phone

Truestance 01-17-2014 01:29 PM

Ok. According to the diagram that line is the t case vac line. So any ideas what I should to locate it's mating fitting

If you're saying the line that goes to the Transfer Case Vacuum switch...that is a long line that goes to the transfer case, which would mean the line is broken. I don't know how to post the pics by phone, maybe if you uploaded them to Photobucket and then provided a link (just guessing). Typically the line people will question goes to the Vacuum Tank which is in the driver's side fender behind the ABS. But from your description, it sounds like that is already there.
