Default rear end axle problems

96 blazer 5 speed has the gu6 code. problem im having is i pulled the drivers side wheel off, pulled cover off the rear end. spun the gears to take out that little side bolt that holds the pin in. tapped on it a couple times and it wont come out. so how can i change outer bearing or axle since i have a wobbling back driver side tire. i thought for sure that pin comes out. is there a diff way to do it since the limited slip is in there too.

The retaining bolt, (image below) must be removed, then slide the lock pin out, (should just slide out) then remove the axle retainers, ("C" clips). The axles can then be removed.

The pin could be bent, but most likely it's worn from slamming on the carrier, I've seen it numerous times. It's a pretty stout chunk of steel, but too many hole shots will do it Better plan on replacing it and hope the carrier isn't damaged too badly.
