rpm gauge bucks and oil gauge going back and forth
 

i was parked in my driveway and turned it over...started perfectly, i noticed before i even moved the engine sounded silent for a second then back on again. in the mean time, i looked at all the gauges. the rpm gauge jumped but with no engine noise so, (and no i was not on the gas lol). i also noticed the engine oil gauge was going between the middle and 1/4 sometimes rapidly but for the most part slowly.

anyone else have this problem

also noted the battery was at 14.3v when this happened and temp was slowing rising as it would during normal operation so no problem there
