Can anyone tell me what the rpo AU5 is exactly. The rpo code sheet i have only says its (LOCK CONTROL, ENTRY REMOTE ENTRY, LOW POWER) Does this mean that i have remote entry? I have a small box on my hush panel whre the rke should be that only has one plug and its nothing like the rke box that i have found in my local junkyard.

From what I was able to find on this RPO code, it means that your truck came with remote keyless entry and that it was a specific frequency range. It likely is different from the general range used in the AU0 RPO code equiped vehicles for whatever reason.

So is there anyway to convert it to the regular AU0? Because i cannot find the two plugs under my dash for the regular Rke box. Or do i need ot have a special fob or have the fobs that i have got programed for the AU5?

Should just be plug and play. To my knowledge, the only difference would be in the receiver & transmitter(s).
