Rust hole Brake lines, need help quick :):)
After spending the day on the phone I had no luck getting hold of the OEM brake line going front to rear on the driver side.
But I did buy some lines and a double flare tool. The problem now, I don't know how to remove the old line!? What holds this in place? Who are the brake line and not the fuel line? Help needed quick as I must work throught the night to get this fixed, as I need this car to get to work tomorrow. 1995 Blazer S10 |
just leave the old one there if u cant remove it.. its not going to hurt nothing. u can simply zip tie the new one in place. done this several times on about every vechicle ive owened. just be sure its zip tied tight and their will be no movement.

That seems like a good solution for tonight :) Thank you!
But I do need to get the old ones out and new ones in place, as I have what we call a EU-controll next month. It's a controll that the car must go through every 2 years. They will not pass a car with "make shift" brake lines. Any clues to how these lines are hold in place? |
Ok, didn't get this fixed last night, but now I'm at it again.
Turns out I bought the wrong size brake line. Is 1/4 inch what I'm going to need? |
