RE: Seafoam??

Umm read other post about seafoam treatments using the search function. If you read these other posts you will see that pouring it in the gas tank probably isnt the best way for the product to perform its task.

RE: Seafoam??

seafoam is a carbon cleaner and will remove any deposits it meets. pouring it in the tank wont hurt. the manufactor suggests pouring 3/4 of the can in the throttle or pcv/braakebooster vacuum lines and the other quater in the tank. if u have any other questions search for seafoam as said before as their are many posts about it.

RE: Seafoam??

There are other much better fuel system cleaners than Seafoam. I prefer Chevron fuel system cleaner and use a bottle every oil change (~5k miles) to keep everything in tip top shape. If you use it to try to fix problems, you won't notice any gain unless you use it for quite a few tanks of fuel. If you use it regularly, you simply won't have problems with buildup in the fuel system.

skitzobmxr, if you paid $8 for a can of seafoam, you paid way too much. Its running about ~$4 at my local Napa.
