Sloppy Window

2001 Jimmy 2dr. My passenger window will open and close fine but if I shut the door with the window down (as seen in the video) it rattles alot and then when I try to put up the widow it is off track. Has anyone had this problem before or is there anything I could adjust to fix this? thanks

How do you get it back on track? I'd start with pulling the inside door panel off. There are screws at the top and bottom and maybe under a panel behind the door handle or in the armrest. After you get those off, be gentle when pulling the panel off, there are only plastic clips holding it on and can break easily, along with a couple wires going do the door controls that unclip. You might have to get someone with small hands and arms if you don't have them yourself lol. But once you get the panel off you should be able to tell whats going on... I've never seen inside anything but my truck

Here's a site that I skimmed over that seemed to have good info

Okay... after looking at the picture of the finished product... you might not be able to tell anything... and it also looks a lot more involved than the ones I've done... lol

I get the window back on track by pulling back and towards the inside of the truck and pops in pretty easily. I did take the door panel off and when im looking down between the door at the front track, it looks like it is just sitting on the groove and not really inside of it. Thanks for the input!

No problem. I'd just get a flat head screw driver and try and jimmy(no pun intended) it back into the grove.

It looks like the clips are missing on either the front or rear side.
