i have an older fisher minuet mount on my 98 4 door 4WD blazer. that specific plow is a bit heavy for the front end of the truck, but newer lightweight composite plow would be great.

I am looking to plow with a 98 also, with the zr2 option, Myers plow recommends RPO "ZM6", which happens to be "offroad suspension" i think at least a 1500 truck would be better...any comments?

I know you can plow with a 4x4 blazer but it probably wouldnt be as easy/enjoyable as with a fullsize truck/SUV. I would recommend a lighter weight composite plow. I would look into Blizzard plows, as they have heavy and lightweight plows and seem to be very popular and long lasting. They have a manufacturing facility close to where I go to school in the Upper Peninsula of MI. If I were to get one for my blazer I would get one from blizzard.

Too bad Blizzard doesn't make one for the S-Series... The Sport Utility one looks perfect...

Yeah I realized it once I actually went to the sight, I was certain I had seen one on a blazer or an S-10. Must have been a custom job or a different white plow manufacturer.

im still sticking with my early 90's fisher for this winter on my 98 4 dr.

it worked great last winter andwe get quite a bit of snow here in Central NY. the only thing im doing before this season is getting a set of Timbren springs for the front to keep the truck from squating so much...

I have a Curtis Hitch-n-Go plow on my Dakota and it is a composite unimount system and it work very well I was going to get the mount kit for the '89 Blazer(as a back-up truck for my plowing buisness)I have but could buy a good used plow unit for the price of the parts. You should have no problem plowing with the Blazer.

I doubt it. Probably would have to take the brush guard off for the season. I have never seen anyone with a brushguard and a snow plow. But it would be a sweet if you could.
