Hot weather with A/C, after >30 min run time - can watch (misfire counts on scanner) and feel it start to miss intermittently on #5. Scanner shows pending P0200 at that point. Let it go through a couple key cycles and it becomes a hard code P0200 and misfire is pending P0305. Usually I have been clearing it at that point. Let it get hot enough and will miss consistently at idle on #5. Cold engine or cooler weather never a problem.
Checked injectors with an ohm meter when both cold and hot and really saw nothing unusual with #5. Was well within spec. But decided to switch spider back to my old one (which was known to me as still a good part) as a test to eliminate it as a problem. When going back together I inspected the terminals in the main injector connector and found terminal for blk/white wire for #5 injector pushed up in the connector about 3/16" with the connector in place on the spider. With some difficulty, I pushed it down into place with a small screwdriver.
Took it out and still exactly same problem. I am hoping the wiring harness is FUBARd, since my only other option appears to be the PCM. Something definitely wrong with the terminal for #5 and it is for the missing cylinder. I'm thinking I need to replace it. Anyone have a source or GM part# for these terminals?

Thanks Rusty, I just prefer to not splice the wiring if I don't have to. As long as I can find a GM P/N I've had pretty good luck obtaining very small parts by Googling the P/N. I like shopping on-line! Thought someone here might have the P/N handy, with the injector pins always getting bent under this connector.
I'll search some more myself for the P/N

Found it on this drawing:
http://www.mouser.com/ds/2/105/dcs_d...083-893027.pdf
Delphi-Packard 12048327
It seems to be made of unobtanium on-line (find listing but no stock anywhere). Maybe can get through GM.

If anyone cares, the problem was finally found today to be a wiring harness (including injector wire) melted on the passenger side exhaust manifold check valve. My fault from when I put engine in for not positioning it correctly.

Kudos to Flashmasters (Google it) for providing the PCM that I tried during diagnosis. $89.95, free Priority Mail shipping, programmed to my VIN with instructions how to re-program the passlock system to the new PCM. Returning within the 1 month and paying a 20% restock fee. What more could a person ask for?!!!!
