Default Spark plugs 2001 Blazer

2000 Blazer

Is the plug in the picture supposed to be connected to something? Just got this vehicle and saw it floating there.

Thanks

if all the plugs have wire connected and they are all connected at the cap then i would say just an old wire they forgot to take out, I assume the blazer is running with no misses or codes?

I agree with canuck, trace it to the other end and I'm pretty sure its not connect to anything due to whoever did the previous job either forgot or just got real lazy.

You can't make this stuff up....

First, thanks for the help, you were both correct. I traced it back and was not connected to anything. The funny part is that the check engine light just popped on after our posts which is clearly not directly related but likely related to the lemon that I just bought 2 days ago. Awesome.

It's failing a test it does to ensure fuel tank can hold a slight vacuum. Loose gas cap is common.

I agree loose gas cap can give the code I had to put a locking gas cap on mine due to people putting stuff in the tanks so one in a while i get the evap code as well, for me i just clear it because I know what the cause is.. As for thinking you bought a lemon you have to keep in mind not everyone keeps up with the maintenance ..

My turn to agree with canuck. It's too soon to call it a lemon. Just finding out why the previous owner sold it.
