I have a 98 4wd 4dr blazer and have an on going problem with the starter bolts. 2 years ago my wife calls and says the truck wont start only hears a whining sound, i go and investigate and find starter hanging and both bolts broken.
we tow it home and I replace the bolts, 6 mo later same thing catch it at one bolt this time, had to drill broken bolt out and install longer bolt, 6 mos later happened again, this time I replace the starter thinking that something is wrong with the housing. lasted 6 mos then happened again.
any ideas, I have read a lot of post and there are a lot of smart people, hope you all have some ideas
