Strange whining/whistling coming from dash under acceleration
 

This happens sometimes, not always. Reminds me of teh engine noise you hear through a stereo that has a bad ground. I have installed no new electronics or messed with any wiring.

From a stop, if I accelerate heavy, sounds like a high pitched whistle or whine coming from the center dash.

This started happening in the last couple months. Thoughts?

I will say my HVAC has been messed up for awhile so I know I have a vaccum issue in the dash, But this doesnt sound related.

It is quite possible that they are related. I would get up under the dash and trace out all of the vacuum lines. If you need to, take some golf tees and plug off the line to each actuator one by one and see if the sound persists.
