Default TCCM Problem?

I know, I know about all the other posts but can't find anyone with my problem. I'll make it short. 01 4door, 4 button 4wd. Stuck in Auto4x, I click 2hi, 4lo flashes and engages if in neutral and slow enough. But after a few days of trying(about 20 times a day), it will just all of a sudden go back into 2hi. And when I need 4x again, it will stay stuck in Auto4x for a few more days... TCCM? Service 4wd comes on after about 5 min after start up(doesn't matter if I'm driving or not) even if in 2wd. I don't want to take it to a shop and get charged 50 bux to read it just yet. Thanks.

Well, search for "NV236+resistance" and test the switch to make sure that the switch is telling the TCCM the proper resistance for the selected button push. After that, check the connections at the TCCM.

If everything there checks out fine, spend the money and have the codes read. To ignore the codes further than that could potentially cause you to waste money.

Yep, pull the passenger side kick panel out and it'll be right there.
