Towing Brakes not prewired

Hey I have a 2000 s10 blazer 4dr 4x4 and from what i can tell i DO NOT have the heavy duty trailer wire set up. So i am wondering what must i do to wire in the brake controller. I have looked at several pages and they mostly just reference what type of set up you have, not what needs to be done to ad the brake controller.

This is the closest thing i could find on the subject

Thanks

figured this might help..... need to add a heavy guage + wire from battery with large fuse to trailer wiring, and also another heavy guage wire from the controller to the trailer wiring, then you need a + heavy guage wire for the controller and tap into your brake light switch, add a ground for the controller and your're good to go

Seems that some car manufactures got with the electric trailer brake guys and started a pre-wire deal somewhere in the late 90s. Here is some info on it.
