RE: transfer case shift motor
The front driveshaft can make this a pain, but here is the procedure:
Removal Procedure [ol][*]Remove the transfer case shield. Refer to Shield Replacement.[*]Remove the transfer case wiring harness connectors from the motor/encoder.[*]Remove the bolts that secure the motor/encoder to the transfer case.[/ol]https://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a...th_encoder.gif The transfer case encoder motor is located on the driver side front portion of the transfer case. |
RE: transfer case shift motor
thanks for the info, now do you have to move the drive shaft and if so what is involved in doing that.

RE: transfer case shift motor
Heya.. It was pretty simple to unbolt the T-Case motor from the T-case, you mentioned that the drive shaft would make it difficult. Does that mean you have to remove the drive shaft? I said there fiddling with the T-case motor trying to get it to wedge out some way or another and it just wouldn't fit.
I also had a couple other questions about the brake switch. |
