Transfer case shop work?? How to check their work

95 blazer 4x4. The reason I took it to the shop is because I was getting atf in the vacuum lines. I opened the fill screw and atf started to gush out. I quickly closed it. Because of time, I took it to the shop. The front input seal, rear output seal and pivot valve o ring was replaced. I had to drop it off this morning and picked it up in the afternoon. I crawled under the blazer and looked at the transfer case. I could not find any signs that it was removed?? I might be just paranoid? The front and rear drive shaft had oil hand prints on it, but all of the bolts around the transfer case still looked the same. They told me that the transfer case was about a quart and a half overfilled. Also that the front seal was worn. I did not get to talk to the guy who worked on it. He was at lunch when I picked up. Is there any way to check if the work was done?? I freak out whenever I have to take something in to a shop.

Or... Take it back

If you had tranny fluid gushing out when you pulled the fill plug the front seal is BAD!!! You can't overfill the t-case 1 1/2 qts. Just can't do it. It could only come through the front seal. I hope you didn't get charged for this ripoff. The front seal isn't hard to change but you do have to drop the t-case to do it. I certainly wouldn't take it back there. These guys obviously don't know what they're doing or talking about.
