Default Transmission fluid change with vacuum pump

The other day some narrow minded guy put engine oil in my PS reservoir. Soon I replaced the fluid using a vacuum pump specially designed for that. The huge pump has a narrow flexible hose that can be fitted inside the tube that holds the auto gearbox dip stick (at least putting the hose inside as long the stick is). So I started to think in using the vacuum pump to purge part of the gear box fluid, refill, purge etc. The gear box is arriving to 100,000 km (60,000 miles) and a slight slippage is noticed when you smash the pedal in 1 while the 1-2 transition. So I will like to improve the fluid quality. No other problems with the 460 L
Is this of any sense?

If it is slipping, it is likely on its way out and new fluid will probably not save it. New fluid may prolong its life though.

It is a much cleaner method than dropping the pan, using a vacuum pump that is. Would be a good way of doing it.

The auto-boxes mechanic told me that with 60,000 m and no services at all the idea to change filter and liquid dropping the pan could be risky as the new fluid may loose particles now present in the box but glued. Any thoughts?. I'm as usual doubtful with the vehicle singularities.

At 60km, I would not worry about even doing an ultrasonic flush. You should not have any problems with replacing the fluid at this low of mileage.

I would change the fluid and filter and after that do a full fluid flush.

I have a 2000 LT 4x4 Blazer and for what ever reason, something told me to have the tranny service (50,000 miles), so I did, it was flushed and filter change, the mech told me it was a good thing I did, for the filter was very dirty and almost completely clog up.

Now I'm the second owner, bought it in 2002 and its never been off road with me (4x4 doesn't work anymore anyhow, probally due to lack of use).

So to me have your tranny service and that includes filter change, it a little more on the pocket book but well worth the time and money.
