truck/blazer bumper
can someone tell me if a chevy 1995- 2005 s10 pick front bumper will fit a 1996 chevy blazer
|
yes it will
|
they(98-05) do bolt up to the front of the frame, but the side braces are different. there are no holes to bolt the braces to on your 96. very doable though. it also uses a different valance.

it would have to bolt right up they are plastic my cracked i will have to live with it until i find a exact match THANK YOU so much for your time and quick responses

94-97 truck, and 95-97 Blazer is what you're looking for then.

From what I read, only a 95-97 will be a direct swap, other folks say the side mounts on the later versions are different, but this seems a bit strange as I've seen combo grille/bumper installs on all years, huh? There was a thread here a few days ago, look back!

95-97 Blazers and 94-97 Trucks use the same front bumper. the parts can be swapped on any between 95-05 Blazer, BUT you have to change the brackets in behind as well. you can mix and match grilles and bumpers too. My blazer is a 96 with a 2005 grille, rad support, bumper, valance etc. it was bolt on, but the whole rad support has to be changed to install a different grille, lights and so on. early trucks had signals in the bumper, later ones were in the grille. |
