Default Vacuum Problem

Hi guys,

I have a 1995 Chevrolet Blazer and am having a problem with vacuum that I need some help on.

My ac/heat vents and 4x4 quit in the same day, I had a friend change my cap and rotor on the distributor and im sure the problem started there as that is the day it all quit. I have read quit a few posts about this problem but have not found a definitive answer

does anyone know exactly where the vent lines on the back on the intake leads to? I have it hooked to the ball on the hood but from the posts here I see that there are supposed to be a couple hoses and a t connector on that hose that runs the ac and 4x4 but its not hooked up. If anyone has a diagram or picture that would be great.

Thanks

I can understand the vacuum line accidentally getting disconnected but you should be able to find the t-fitting right between the fender and brake booster and reconnect the vacuum line to it.

now the one that goes to the ball is connected, I guess I am not relaying whats wrong with it.

When the vacuum line comes off the back of the intake does it go straight the the ball on the hood or does it split off first?
