water running down driverside firewall when raining?
2 Attachment(s)
I have a 99 Bravada and every time it rains, underneath the driver-side carpet it gets wet, I already put new door pins and bushings in the door and checked the sunroof drain lines so all that checks out fine. today it really poured so i went out there with a flashlight and removed the kick panel and pulled the carpet back to find a steady stream of water running down the firewall near where the e brake cable runs through the floor. I got some food dye and put it on the base of the windshield and sure enough the dye came inside on the paper towel. SOOOO i believe its leaking in the wiper cowl somewhere around there. I bought a can of that seen on tv FlexSeal. I live in Oregon so when it stops raining should i remove the cowl and just do a coating in there and inside up on the firewall? Any better ideas as to where the leak may be coming from? Thanks in advance!!
