Default RE: Weird Tranny Problem

I had this type of prob with my 99S10 girly truck. Eventually the check engine light came on and my fluid was a little burned but not to the polish point. The dealership wanted mega bucks to fix (replace whole tranny)but my local AAMCO guys did some magic on the transmission and it has not reappeared. They drilled out holes on an interior plate, replaced the transmission wiring harness and invertedanother part ( some kind of pump) anyway I am happy, my truck is happy and it cost $800 (in Canada). Actually cheap at the price.
