Default Wet carpet in cargo area !

Could someone help me please,i have a 98 blazer and i noticed that the cargo area carpet is soaked, but just like half the area(closest to the bumper) i had to set some heaters and fans in the back area to dry it out tonight,it was starting to smell kinda funny in the truck and thats when i stumbled across the wet carpet,i did check the seal and it looks good any help would help me out.Why couldn't this happen in the summer

has it rained or have you washed it lately?

I would drop the seats in the rear, climb in with the rear closed up.
bring a few rolls of cheapy TP (Toilet paper)with you.
pile it up round the glass, door seals (even the sides)
Spray it down from the outside and watch for it.
your leak will soak the TP in the leak area first, I recomend a "Spray a little-check allot" approach

*****IF****** you have a roof rack... you may have a leak at the mounts [>:]
this may develop due to dry rotting rubber seal

2 years ago my sunroof leaked at the rear seal. I had the dealer put a new one in b/c it was still w/in the 3 months i bought it.

Its doing it again now.. has anyone ever seen this issue? It probably didn't help we are getting crazy rain here in MA and i was parked uphill last night...

water goes behind the sunroof and gets caught in the headliner.. is this common? i thought initially it was an issue because the sunroof had been left cracked (rear side up) for a week before I bought it....
