What brand intake gaskets should i get?
 
i have a 95 S10 with a vortec "W" vin and i have to replace the intake gaskets. what brand should i get? Felpro? GM? Victor reinz? corteco?
whats the differece between brands?

Victor reinz was sent with my engine and have no problems

is this with your latest engine that you have? or the one before that had the timing jumping around?
also did you ever replace the distributor gear or the intake gaskets with that motor that had the timing jumping around all over the place? thanks

both engines came with the reinz gasket set..installed all new gaskets..never had to mess with the dist. gear...timing variations is normal

I couldn't tell you about the differences between them, but I used the felpro set on my lower intake a couple of years ago. Probley got at least 30,000 miles on since. No leaks yet.

just curious, if you were looking at the intake gasket, was the center piece missing from the two siamesed ports on the gasket? if you look up the intake gaskets for a 95 S 10 vortec "W" vin , it shows a gasket with the center divider missing, why? wouldnt that cause a leak?
