I have been using Royal Purple 5w30 full synthetic, but my last change was with Mobil 1 0w30 synthetic to see if it helps with fuel economy - not so far, 500 miles later. I'm not sure about zinc content or what benefit it would provide.

I stick with the factory recomendation of 5W-30. I do use full synthetic (Mobile 1) in all my cars. I was tempted to try to 0W-30 but my instincts told me to stick with what I have been using.

I have been using Amsoil 0w 30 Signature series for the past couple of years.
I am here in the Midwest. I have been getting 15-16mpg in the city and 22-24 on
the highway. It's pricey but I love the stuff. I change it every 15,000 miles along
with their recommended oil filter.

Regular old Penzoil 5W30 since I bought my blazer new back in Oct 2000. Change the oil every 3000 miles. I've got 184K on it now and the engine still runs strong.

I use Havoline 10W30. At my last used oil analysis, the zinc content was 850 ppm. I've never done a virgin oil analysis on it, so I don't know what the zinc content is out of the bottle. Since the moly count in the UOA runs ~360ppm, I'm not so concerned with the zinc content as an anti-wear additive.

I use 10W40 from May to September, and 10W30 from October to April. My Sonoma has 121k Miles on it, and runs great. I use Pennzoil. The biggest thing is changing the oil at the right intervals and never being cheap when it comes to quality parts and oils.
