What weight motor oil do you run in your Vortec engine?

full synthetic 5W30 either syntec,edge,or mobil 1. Im going to run mobil 1 advanced fuel economy 0w30 this winter for testing though.

I run 15-50 full synthetic NAPA oil. 121,000 miles & still knocking & rattling as it has for 33,000 miles.

Castrol 10w40 here with just over 151k miles.

I Use Full synthetic 5W30 either Royal Purple,edge,or mobil 1 with a K&n Gold Hp-2001 Oil filter those are life savers with the 1" wrench off

I just run the 5W30 oil. Never had any problems with it.

5w30 castrol wix filter has great oil pressure

valvoline 5-30 during winter .... 10-40 summer

1995 s10 blazer 4X4 .... 229,000. miles & still running strong ....

just changed mine with valvoline 5w 30 (it was on sale lol)

My 97 T-10 has 186,000 and I use penzoil 5w-30 high mileage year-round and I change it every 2k miles here in the mid-west and it runs great!

Run 10w-30 Castrol GTX for the last 30k miles I've had it. Change every 5k, doesn't leak a drop at 125k.
